The Division of Clinical Physiology is the research division of the Institute of Cardiology at the University of Debrecen Medical and Health Science Center. Since the academic year of 2000/2001 the Institute of Cardiology contributes to the education of Complex Pathology for 3rd year university students in the general medicine, dentistry and pharmacist trainings. To aid educational duties a new division, called Clinical Physiology was established within the Institute of Cardiology in 2000. New seminary rooms, laboratories and a library provide appropriate background for the gradual and post-gradual Ph.D. trainings. In association with different aspects of cardiovascular diseases the division conducts an internationally recognized research activity.
