  The aim of Clinical Physiology

The aim of Clinical Physiology is to summarize the clinically relevant information of pathophysiology. Particular attention is paid to those molecular and cellular processes that bear practical relevance in modern medicine/pharmacology. Clinical Physiology contributes to the proper interpretation of the clinical subjects with providing background information on the pathogenetic, diagnostic and therapeutic aspects. Clinical Physiology concentrates primarily on the cardiovascular, respiratory and nervous systems. In addition, it also contributes with lectures to the topics of nutrition, general pathophysiology and inflammation.
